Falmec - Filter Carbon.Zeo KACL.930 for Down Draft Caps

The exclusive combo filter Carbon.Zeo by Falmec, here proposed as subbase Unit for Down Draft Caps, uses materials of natural origin, such as zeolite and the activated carbon, to retain odors with maximum effectiveness.

Coal:
Active carbons are materials containing mainly carbon in the form of graphite microcrystals, treated in order to obtain a porous structure with a large internal surface area. Thanks to these characteristics, they are able to retain many types of substances, attracting molecules and absorbing them inside.

Zeolite: 
Zeolite is a mineral with a high capacity to absorb organic compounds and water vapour. This property derives directly from the microporosity of its crystalline structure. Moreover, zeolite, thanks to its chemical characteristics, releases heat in contact with moisture, reducing it. The use of zeolite is therefore very important both to reduce odors and to absorb water vapor from cooking in the kitchen.

Long service life, simple maintenance:
The combo filter Carbon.Zeo has a very high duration: from a minimum of 3 years to an average estimate of 5 years (with normal use of the hood). After 18 months it is also recommended to regenerate it by placing it in the oven at 200°C for two hours.
